In February, Johannes moved from TU Dortmund University to University of Stuttgart, where he continues his research in Secure Software Engineering.

In October, Christoph successfully defended his PhD thesis titled "Federated Learning Platforms for Dynamic and Value-Driven Participation in Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning"! He now continues his research at Bielefeld University as postdoctoral researcher.

In June, Christoph will present his paper titled "SHAP-FL: Improving Explainability for Multicentric Sepsis Onset Prediction Through Background Dataset Synthesis" at the International Conference of AI in Medicine
Together with Jared Chiaramonte, his intern from Arizona State University, Johannes published "MARIN: A Research-Centric Interface for Querying Software Artifacts on Maven Repositories", which was just accepted at the MSR 2025 conference.
